PHOTOGRAPHS OF EDITING

Throughout the editing process, we used the program, Adobe Premiere Pro. This was so that our documentary was to a professional standard. Our group was entitled to many tools on this program that enabled use to create various cuts, graphics and to edit the interviews and cutaways easily.

The program we used to create our documentary.

This is an example of our documentary edited on Premiere Pro. Here you can see the time line in which we edited our filming into our finished documentary.

This tool shows where we have uploaded each clip that we filmed. After uploaded we then drag the selected clip onto the time line where we can play around with it and edit it till seen as a professional piece of film.

This shows the tool bar that enables you to edit your filming. The selected tool shown was used to cut precisely in the right places. By using this tool, we were enabled to delete certain parts we didn't want.

This is an example of how we used the title tool to create graphics for our interviews as it is an important convention in documentary as it provides the audience information. The tool also enabled us to choose font and color that was appropriate for our documentary. In addition, it gave us the choice of where to position it on the screen.

As you can see, our audio was put into the time line such as our voice over and the various music we used. This was placed separately to the filming so that the music didn't overlap the filming. Again, by using this time line, we were enabled to cut, edit and fade in and out.
